Re: We need some laughs here!

It is recounted that at King’s College in the Strand around the time of the war, the Chief of Services would inevitably begin the year’s rounds by teaching "a singularly important principle of medicine." He asked a nurse to fetch him a sample of urine. He then talked at length about diabet...

I got from Amazon also this week and it's great.

I would request that all members on this board try this as it's a natural harmless way and may work better than a lot of supplements.

Re: Invisible Caregiver...

Caregiver is a tough job, but the people with Big C is even tougher.

I think there was an article on how a cancer patient is always right, and the primary caregiver has the second priv on being always right and secondary caregiver has the 3rd priv on being always right, and something like that.

Re: Review of my Journey so far -> UPDATED

CRguy, I like your hands on approach. Doctors have been trained to treat a median/mean patient but only the lucky 10-20% fit into that category. For rest 90% all, each body is unique and may need a custom solution which doctor usually does not have time to provide or think. So one has to be one's ow...

Re: 3 Years back this day

3 years back today was the first chemo for my dad. Till then I had no clue what chemo treatment was like. I had some vague idea of some machine giving radiation and chemo combination and people losing their hair after their first chemo. I was very nervous but my dad was brave and took it in his stri...

Re: What happened? I'm Confused

I too seem to have missed what really happened and why people were upset or were apologizing.

The only thing that makes me upset is that the War on cancer declared by Nixon 45 years back does not seem close to being won by human kind or we would not have lost so many great souls on this forum.
