Re: Question as I prepare for colonoscopy in two hours

Fasting on clear liquids for 5 day prior probably cleaned just about everything out. I eat normally prior to a colonoscopy except for the day before when I am allowed all the plain white rice I want prior to noon.

Re: Dogs detecting cancer

I am familiar with anecdotal evidence and concede that animals have heightened senses and abilities that we don't fully understand. I love my two dogs but I think that I would rather have a colonoscopy.

Re: Supplements, yay or nay? Lycopene, grapeseed extract, reseveratrol, curcumin

Yes...as my cardiologist stated to me....resveratrol is the compound in red wine that he recommends to all patients that helps protect the heart. I don't like red wine...so why not take this supplement?

My heart must be incredibly healthy then....

Re: If anyone is interested

Not really too concerned with CC fraud. People have attempted to use my AMEX and Visa card numbers and the companies were all over it "like white on rice". They are the ones that will suffer the loss if you are diligent to report a lost or stolen card. I am more concerned about data breech...

Re: Da Vinci and CEA Dx 19.8 after xeloda 4.8

I had my sigmoid tumor removed (along with 8 inches of my colon) via DaVinci robot assisted surgery. One surgeon operated from the console and another position the robot by hand. I was operated on Thursday morning and left the hospital on Saturday morning and walked my dogs that afternoon. I was sor...

Re: Stage 2b

Xeloda alone may be an option for your husband if you choose chemo. I had no no real side effects except for Hand/Foot syndrome after 3rd round. He would only need to go for blood tests after each round. The pills would be shipped to you.
