Re: Clinical Trial - Round #3

Agreed - The Phase 1 trial is expressly done to attempt to find the overall best dose/schedule for effectiveness.... The data for this will be used to plan the later trials if they can find a happy medium. Keep in mind - one is playing a deadly game with the immune system, and attempting to find a ...

Re: Clinical Trial - Round #3

This is purely a guess but I am thinking that they may want to finish a full cycle/see CT-scans on this first dose level cohort (these first 3 patients including Belle) and then when they start the next dose cohort decide whether to potentially dose higher vs. dose more patients the same to enlarge ...

Re: Clinical Trial - Round #3

To echo another comment Belle - you are AMAZING. Thank you again for being such a trailblazer! BTW Sometimes with immuno drugs the effects on CEA and CT can happened in a delayed fashion (compared to how those tests behave with chemotherapy). This is something that people in the early CTLA4 clinical...

Re: Short update on me - clinical trial

As far as I know, they have only announced one location thus far. For safety reasons they may start out very slow and add locations after the first couple of dose cohorts have been dosed, but that is just a guess. At todays investor conference call (anyone can listen to recording on their website) t...

Re: Short update on me - clinical trial

Swinging chickens like mad for you Belle - it is my understanding that they are also looking at once every three weeks dosing - not sure yet how often the immune system has to be activated. I'm glad you're listening to your body & not forcing a dose today. Get feeling better & go back on the...

Re: Starting clinical trial tomorrow

Thank you Julia for helping keep us informed of the Chris's Trial progress! Re: Clinical Trial Update - Appt. with Dr.

Belle - as a fellow Stage IV mCRCer who reads posts often but has never posted before, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to test new medicines not only for your own good but for the good of everyone! THANK YOU! Although I am a patient, I am also by chance a PhD Oncology researcher ...
