I suggest consulting with palliative care (NOT the same as hospice). I know sometimes people are given Ritalin to combat the excessive fatigue.

If you need to know, but your wife doesn't, I would ask the doctor when she isn't there. That is what I had to do, because my husband didn't want to know, but I am the type of person that needed to know.

You will be out for the colonoscopy itself, so it won't be painful. Prep for it sucks, but you need to do this.

Are you using wipes instead of tp? There are also bidet attachments you can hook up fairly easily to your toilet. The tp that I like is Cottonelle with aloe. Easier on the tushie. I would not suggest Gainesville. We have had some serious issues with the hospital there.
