Hi Angie-I had 5 rounds folfox and in the middle of treatment did some radiation with xeloda for 5 weeks...then back to folfox for 3 rounds. For me, the xeloda was actually easier..but everyone is different. I didn't feel as blah with xeloda. I did however have more bowell issues-diarrhea. But it co...
I'd definately get an opinion or 2 on that from your onc. I had HIPEC, and both the surgeon and onc at Mayo said no chemo is best. I was very hesitant about that,,,,but I thought about their reasoning, and went with it. Time will tell if it was the right move. I think they wanted to save chemo for i...

I will join you! :D I will be looking forward to hearing from you when you are done. I will be praying for yo...

Steph, what about your CEA? Was that normal? Does yours fluctuate at all when you have disease? Hi Janklo, CEA was 1.1-normal,,,and it only fluctuated with my initial colon tumor (19). But it did not fluctuate when I had just the peritoneal mets after I was done with chemo...so the peritoneal mets ...

He was not able to tell me if it was anything-as there’s nothing to base it off of,,,so I’m supposed to come back in 3 months to do another CT to se...
