Re: Sleeping with: bag, heart monitor and pump accached

I'm a stomach sleeper and I still manage to sleep on my stomach dispite the port and tubing. Sometimes I have to use some extra pillow padding but i make it work.

Re: HAI pump without Dr. K at MSK

I'd go with Dr. K just because as just as punky44 says you deserve the best. With that being said OSU is doing some great things. I've been going there and have had great luck.with them but I have lung mets.
Good luck

Praying for beautiful clear scans! No one knows the dread of scanxiety until you become a cancer warrior. Hang in there and try to keep up a good attitude :)

Re: KRAS G12V and Avastin

I'm g12v Kras mutant and have good luck.with Folfiri + Avistin. This is my second go round and my nodules have shrunk. My CEA went from a 331 in April to a 7.5 in August. If you aren't comfortable is get a second opinion. I've had two oncologist and they've both had me on Avistin.
Good luck

So very sorry for your loss Lee. Sounds like the world lost a good man. Hopefully his "children" will carry on his legacy of love.

Re: Heart murmur...possible side effect folfiri avistin??

Thanks WS. I'll keep you posted and try to remember to ask my onc if she thinks it's a side effect, she's extremely upfront so I know she'll give me straight answers.

Heart murmur...possible side effect folfiri avistin??

Last several times my oncologist has noticed an aortic heart murmur. I was wondering if this is a possible side effect from folfiri+avistin or am I just getting old lol? Anyone have this happen? She doesn't seem to concerned. But is talking possible further test.

Re: Back from NIH good news kind of about TIL trial

Thanks NHMike. I get it but I just want to get started lol. Sdino...theyve offered me the same things on my first meeting in April and have brought up the new trial to me too. It's a little nerve racking to me but they are the smart people and I'll do what they decide. It's exciting that they have s...

Re: NIH trail update .. my T cells are growing!!

Thanks Shana and NHMike. I like the idea of being a part in helping to find a cure, obviously I want it to work but being a part of something bigger than me makes be feel good.
