Re: scared i might have colon cancer :(

We are not doctors. We are cancer survivors. Any health concern should be addressed with your doctor, not on google, and not on an online forum. Good luck.

Re: Colon symptoms bleeding etc

We are not doctors and neither is google. We are colon cancer survivors or loved ones of survivors. That does not qualify us to speculate on your symptoms. Follow up with your doctor as advised. Good luck.

We are not doctors. We are cancer survivors or loved ones of survivors. We are not qualified to give out medical advice. Good luck. I hope you will find a proper diagnosis with your doctor.

Re: Symptoms - Worry about it

We are not doctors and neither is google. For a proper diagnosis, you need to contact your doctor and address your concerns with him/her. Could be something or it could be nothing. Only a colonoscopy will tell for sure. But we are not qualified to speculate on your situation as we are not doctors. B...

Re: I think i may have colon cancer

We are not doctors, we are just people who unfortunately were diagnosed with colon cancer. We are not qualified to speculate whether or not you have cancer. You have an appointment with a gastroenterologist and that is the best place to address your concerns. Best of luck to you.

Re: "Dr" Google can be good

When anyone is diagnosed with cancer, I certainly think it is important to research. I certainly did. I think it’s unwise for folks who have anxiety about their health or are hypochondriacs to consult dr google about their symptoms and convince themselves they have cancer. I have only ever advised t...

Re: Possible Third Diagnoses

I can empathize with how you are feeling. In a span of 18 months, I was diagnosed with colon cancer, Lynch syndrome, and ovarian cancer. 4 abdominal surgeries and lots of chemo. It scares people when someone they love or know gets cancer. All those positive comments are more for them. I had a lot of...

Re: So confused

Everybody has a different experience. I never had any pain under the belly button. I’m sorry you felt that he was rude, but he is right to tell you to go to the ER. He cannot diagnose or treat you over the phone. He doesn’t even know you as you are not his patient. As it is Friday night, the only wa...

Re: new to the forum i'm worried about my mom high cea

That is a lot of information. We are not doctors however and we are not qualified to make speculations about your mothers case. All I can advise is to keep advocating for your mother and seek other opinions from doctors if you are not satisfied with the care your mother is getting. But we are not ex...

Re: This chemo is knocking me down

The effects of chemo are cumulative. Every one was worse than the one before for me. My doctor finally cut the dose on the last two treatments. I got my chemo every 3 weeks and the only time I felt good in those 6 months was the day I got chemo and the day after because they jacked me up with steroi...

We are not doctors. Any concern about your health needs to be addressed with a doctor. We cannot help you. It would be irresponsible of us to give out medical advice as we are not qualified to do so.

Re: Delaying treatment?

That’s a really tough choice. There really is no way to predict the outcome of delaying chemo for a few weeks. All I can say is what I would do. I would give my baby every possible second before birth to improve his life. I have a 14 year old son. I would not hesitate to give my own life for him. Yo...

I did not do chemo and I’m 10 years out from diagnosis. No reoccurrence. I stay on top of my checkups and colonoscopies.

Re: A distressing situation

Are there no privacy laws with regards to health records in your country? Nobody should be looking at your mothers scans and discussing her case behind her back. I’d be having a very frank conversation with your brother about his mother in law looking at your mothers scans. She is not a radiologist ...
