Hi , Form what you have quoted from the report I would be linking in with one of the HIpec centres . Christies has some very experienced surgeons in that field and will give her a consultation. That would be our starting point . To be honest I am not sure how you go about getting other blood panels ...

Hi , Welcome to the forum . I am also in the UK . My mum is nine years into a stage 4 diagnosis and now find myself careful as most of what we were told may in fact be outdated . We were however told to be careful with the amount of green veg as it contained folate which interacted with the chemo . ...

Hi . I think they expect some rise when in active treatment but it reduces once the chemo stops . My mum lost an amazing three stones and was tiny when she had her resection but gradually that has returned to a better size too .i would not be too concerned but keep hammering away at his calories. Jings they move fast . In a few weeks time he will just have the spinal met and some physio for his hip to attend to .

I think your oncologist made a very wise decision . You remind me a lot of my mum . She has a very similar attitude. Great to hear you are safely through surgery .
My mum had not experienced any further issues and she actually did not do chemo .
Hope everything goes well for you with chemo .
