Re: New here - rectal cancer, very nervous about radiation

.... Any thoughts and encouragement are much appreciated, thank you. Two thoughts: ⋅ You have been assigned to a 5-day short course of radiation therapy. According to NCCN, your daily dose for each of the 5 days will be 25 Gy. This dose level is two and a half times that of the daily dose...

Re: Possible lymph node metastasis

... I have been trying to research and figure out which ones are considered distant and would make it stage 4 cancer. We won’t see our oncologist again for a few weeks as we see the oncology nurse this week and when we asked her last time she did not know. Does anyone out there have experience with...

Is the 2018 issue of "On the Rise" magazine already sold out?

Does anybody know if the 2018 On the Rise magazine is still available? I cannot find it listed anywhere in the Colon Club on-line shop. The 2018 issue was supposed to have a number of articles on topics like those mentioned in the quotes below. I would like to know which topics were actually covered...

Re: OFF TOPIC: Specialists in silos, patient suffering as result

I’m not sure what you mean by “silo” ... It's not really clear to me either, but here's an article with a photo of a few silos ...... (I thought that the big silos were built to store genetically modified products like corn, soybeans, and colza ... but I guess there could be other interpretations.)...

I'm not sure what to expect... So, how did your biofeedback session go? Did they measure your muscle strength at baseline? I...
