Starting Chemotherapy, Cycle 2, next week

Presumably, you're starting your second cycle of FOLFOX next week (Monday?)

Are you prepared for this cycle?

Are you doing anything special in preparation for this cycle? And what have you learned from the first cycle?

Re: Has anyone had this FOLFOX side effect?

Do your best to push through so you have an even lower chance of recurrence and don’t have to go through this shit again. Thanks...

Re: Has anyone had this FOLFOX side effect?

My husband got bad hiccups with every Folfox infusion ... His doctor told us the hiccups were caused by the nausea medication infusion. Pagola44, Judging from what Bpaint has said, I think it might be a good idea for you to check on what kind of nausea medication you might have been given in the pr...

Re: Antioxidants and diet

What kind of anti oxidants do you take? Basically the same ones that you mentioned above in your post -- but in moderation, not in big doses. Also, I didn't take any anti-oxidants while on chemo or while on chemo/radiation -- only started taking anti-oxidants in the 5-year post-treatment surveillan...
