Re: Scanxiety: Anyone else having testing now?

Thinking of you today! I just got home from doctor's, and I'm all clear. Now officially 2 years NED. Although my blood-pressure in the doctor's office before he came in was 185 / 110. Yeeks. Thanks Robino and everyone for your thoughts and prayers. They are always appreciated. I know I haven't been...

Re: Scanxiety: Anyone else having testing now?

Well, I call the office today. They have me come in to get the results. The ascites is back (I knew in my heart it was because of slight'ish bloating) and her words "It's a little bit not good". Some of the seeding is becoming active again. She didn't give me a copy of the results. Didn't ...

Re: New Member here needs support !

I am new member, confused, feasted, feeling sad. I had a colonscopy on Friday. Dr. came in and said he had bad news, i have cancer. I am scheduled to have lab work and catscan on tomorrow. I have 4cm mass 7cm, don't know what is what, my mind in a fog. I'm so sorry that you are going through this. ...

Re: New Member here on the forum

To not sound like I'm complaining (I hope!) I just matter of factly say I'm feeling the first bite thing. She's actually asked what that is and I told her. I also told her about this forum and I've learned what to watch for and how to manage these effects. It helps knowing that this is 'normal'. I h...

Re: Scanxiety: Anyone else having testing now?

Long overdue hello, Diana. :) Glad to hear that your numbers went back to normal. I'm due for my CT tomorrow, results next Tuesday, so I'm in full scanxiety mode. I try to deny it, but I know it's true. After all, here I be. <:- ) I'll keep praying for you, you keep praying for me. Smiles, hugs and...

Re: Mop up chemo experiences

I really hate that the side effects are so bad for you :(

Keep plugging away and remember that these are only temporary. We are fighting a fucking nasty beast. Get home and cuddle up with something warm. Summer is on its way and that should help somewhat.

Re: Scanxiety: Anyone else having testing now?

I won't know until next Thursday. That's when I go in for my next round and I will be seeing the oncologist then. My blood work shows on my 'Patient Portal' but that is the only thing that gets posted. I might try calling the office and see if I can get the results sooner but a part of me wants to p...

Absolutely fantastic!

Re: Shoulder Pain

It sucks when we have pains. I know I'm constantly thinking "is this from a spread of the disease?" Until I get my next scan (this Wednesday) I'm not really going to know for sure. For myself I'm going with these are my normal aging aches and pains until I hear otherwise. ;) I don't think ...
