4.3 years ned now . Just had yearly scan results , hope this gives hope to the Newley diagnosed , hit the big 5 in October , onc said to my husband last year he now considers him cured as far as he's concerned .

Latest ct results from yesterday still confirm no evidence of metastatic disease !! 4.3 years now , in 2011 2016 seemed so long away , going for the big 5 now , beyond grateful and promised to come back to this site each year to post the "good news" to offer hope to the Newley diagnosed as...

Scan next week 20th will be 4 years 3 months since diagnosis been clear up now , fingers crossed for everyone , I'm so anxious .

My husbands just returned from this 3 monthly appointment ... All still well , bloods great , scan end of Jan 2016 ..... 4 years ned x

Well 4 years ago today my husband came home and delivered the devastating news ...... I never thought we would get to 4 years ... I used to scour theses pages for stories of hope , he has his regular 3 month check on Monday ...bloods were took on Friday so he goes back for the results , nothing has ...

Congrats ..... We are about 5 months behind you and all is well , the oncologist last week said to my husband that as far as he's concerned he's now cured !! Apparently recent stats show not much difference between 3 and 5 year disease free survival / cure rate .

Husbands latest results are in ..... All clear , 3 years and 3 months cancer free .... Over the moon is an understatement .

Yearly scan today .... Nerves kicking in , scared worried anxious but hopeful ... Nothing to suggest any reccurance but ya never know ..... Clean since 2011 , please send prayers positive vibes or swing some chickens .... My tummy is doing somersaults :/

Forgot to add he's got a routine scan coming up in the next couple of weeks and it's been a year since the last so that's prob not helping anxiety

Anyone had counselling after diagnosis ???

As the title suggests ... My husband is over 3 years since diagnosis and knock on wood all has been clear since but he's struggling I think with anxiety / panic attacks /slight depression .... Although he's only just revealed this to me today ... His doctor this morning said it because hes suffered ...

T3 n0 sounds like a stage 2 to me my husband was t3 n1 ( 2 lymph nodes affected but no vascular involvement) but those 2 affected nodes out him at stage 3 b , yours will with be stage 2a or possibly 2b , are they recommending chemo ?
