Re: Lymph negative but one marked as 'i+'

Hi Squak, I had something similar I think, my pathology report said tumour deposits on the meso colon, when I asked what these were I was told they were isolated tumour cells, and that I was between stage 2c and 3a, but the surgeon said they were not really classified as lymph nodes. I had adjuavant...

Re: muscle tightness on right side

Hi Angie, I too have a similar type of pain, it developed after my fifth or sixth cycle of folfox, I had a ct at the time and there was inflamation in the right side of my abdomen, the surgeon and onc both said it was proabably as a result of adhesions caused by my surgery ( right hemicolectomy ). T...

Re: Chemo Question

Hi Mike, I did not use Xelox, so cannot comment on it. I did have 12 cycles of FolFox, and while I had some problems the port and the pump were the least of them. The port really worked well for me as I had very poor veins because I was in physically bad shape as a result of complications from my su...

Hi Mel, I am so sorry that you feel no one is taking you seriously, have you talked to your parents or a family member you trust or maybe a teacher who will help you with this problem and advocate for you. Re: Help plz- discouraged after 3rd Folfox

Hello HopeForJesse, When I was on Folfox I was very tired and sleepy for five to seven days after infusion and would sleep for long periods. I was on Dexamethasone which helped with the nausea, but had to come off it as it made me feel very down, then went on Zofran which I found worked well except ...

Re: Incidental LAMN tumour

Thanks for replying Deb m, Yes I had genetic testing done, but it did not show up any predisposition to bowel cancer even though my mother died from it when she was 59 years old. We have four adult children, 30, 29, 26, 24, (we started young, being together 34years) two of them have had clear colono...

Incidental LAMN tumour

Hi All,
When I was diagnosed with my main tumour in my cecum there was an incidental finding of a LAMN tumour of my appendix, which combined with the main tumour had caused a blockage of my bowel which led to my hospitaliziation, anyone else have similar experience?

Hello everybody, I am from the Republic of Ireland, my doc has told me I am stage 2C, this is my first time posting on this forum. I was diagnosed on October 2014 and had right hemi colectomy on the 13/10/2015 which removed about two feet of small and large intestine, followed by 12 cycles of Folfox...
