Re: Eating Healthy on a Low Residue Diet?

Nik Colon has given you the best advice. "PLEASE don't go by info from sites such as ChrisBeatCancer, etc. Diet and exercise are good but will not cure cancer." When I was first diagnosed I did the health kick to. My advise now would be eat anything and everything with moderation. Sound li...

I changed soaps, laundry soap and everything else.I used every type of lotion and nothing worked.
I finally got a prescription for HYDROXYZINE HCL and it worked in a couple days.

Re: How long do Folfox side effects last!

Hi CarolA, I think if you ask 100 people this question you will get 100 different answers. I remember signing a paper stating chemo can stay in your system for 10 years( dam I hope not) My last infusion was in march and it took 3 or 4 weeks to start feeling semi normal again. My feet did not bother ...

Re: All for nothing

All for nothing I think not. Hopefully the chemo radiation killed the tumor and now they just need to clean up the area and remove the burnt parts. Like my surgeon told me about this time last year. I scraped you out like a pumpkin. Have you tried switching to vaping ? I think it a good crutch to st...

Re: The 2 days after disconnect

Two days after disconnect was always my worst day.
I would get chemo on Mondays, pump off on Wednesday and Friday was a crash day. I did nothing but get iv fluids and sleep all day and night. I think it was coming off the Dex. That caused the crash.
I V fluids helped me a lot

Hi Thubler, Welcome to the board there is a wealth of info here and people do understand what your going threw here. This is a good place to write your experiences so others newly diagnosed can find some hope and not feel alone. I'm glad your handling your treatment well and it almost over. Hang in ...

Re: Colon Resection- Scared! 39 yo female-colon cancer

Hi welcome to the club that no one likes to join. I'm sorry you had to find us here. Most of your questions should be answered by your surgeon so I would suggest you get a spiral notebook and start righting down a boatload of questions for him.
