My mom's oncologist always reminds us that he only uses the CEA as a guide not as a diagnostic tool. Only imaging can give the whole picture. CEA is a better marker for some than others. OH NO!!!! My heart is aching. I having been following her story and she was one hell of a fighter. She was so close. What a strong amazing woman and I hope she rest in peace and I can only think of her family at this difficult time.
