Re: Suprep Tablets

update:

The pills were SO much easier than the prep. Like a million times easier. If you struggle with the liquid, ask your doc if the pills are available to you.
(nausea can happen, but I just took zofran a half hour before just to be sure) My doc. said that was fine to do.

Had CT scan today. Some spots on lungs that radiologist believes is an infection. Getting antibiotic. Another CES test next week to see if level drops. Other than this, all clear. Hoping it is infection and CEA drops to normal.

Hoping so too!

Re: Rise in CEA

This is my first time here. My wife had CRC in june 2020 and had surgery. CEA before surgery was 2.0. After 12 rounds of chemo, it was usually between 1.5 - 1.7. After last bloodwork, it went to 7. ONC said not to worry as her last CT scan, 3 months ago, was completely clear. I am pretty worried an...

Re: Incision pain 12 days after surgery

When I had my resection, the pain lasted about 2 weeks pretty severely. After that it started to improve. Is it stabbing even when sitting still, or is it with only movement? Make sure you are not doing too much! If it is even happening at rest, you should call your doctor and run it by them. Someth...

Re: rectal bleeding- similar to pre diagnosis, scared

Having any type of bleeding is scary. *hugs* I'm sorry you're going through this and have to wait for a colonoscopy. I hope you get good results. *hugs* It really is! Since that is how I knew something was wrong before diagnosis, the trauma response is so strong! The strange thing is that it seems ...

Re: rectal bleeding- similar to pre diagnosis, scared

Has anyone had blood on toilet paper and stool that was JUST hemorroid? Absolutely. As far as I know it's pretty common. But waiting for scan results is terrible, so hang in there. Thanks for the reply Nor Cal Yes, the waiting is so difficult :( Can’t wait to get the testing over with so I have ans...

rectal bleeding- similar to pre diagnosis, scared

Hello All, I am scheduled for a colonoscopy in 2 weeks... It will have been 3 years since my last. It is just a regular ole’ check up colonoscopy, but recently I have noticed bright red blood when wiping (sometimes), and blood along stool (sometimes). Obviously this is quite scary, since that is pre...

Suprep Tablets

Hi All,

Has anyone used the suprep tablets instead of liquid for colonoscopy prep?
If so...
What are the differences symptom wise? Does it cause cramping? How large are the pills? Was it effective at doing it’s “job”?
Tell me all the things!

Rectal pressure off and on- 4 yrs post resection

Hi all, I am noticing that I have rectal pressure (like a dull ache) sometimes prior to BM and for awhile after. I also notice it after long hikes or busy days on my feet. I feel like this has been a problem off and on since surgery but am curious if anyone else has this issue post resection. Not su...

Re: Review of my Journey so far -> ⓊⓟⒹⒶⓉⒺ June 15/2021

Just witnessed the most beautiful sight off my back deck. Almost a full moon ( actually tomorrow ) and a full rainbow halo around this moon tonight. Perfect colour, perfect symmetry. Moon halos I have seen ... BUTT ... never a perfect spectrum rainbow around one in a perfect circle. I don't "i...
