Re: The Grim Reaper took another swipe at me !!

I'm so sorry to hear this... When I learned this I immediately got depressed and have been down the whole day. Frenchie was one of the first personalities I encountered here at CT more than 2 years ago. He was witty, funny, smart, and seemed to be a very nice guy. The "5 year club" badge o...

Re: DK37 Blog: ASCO 2017 Best MSS CRC Presentation/Clinical Trial

Very interesting writeup on this new development Tom. I noticed you did the SIRT procedure on June 1. Did you do both lobes at the same time or stagger them? SIRT has a special significance to me as I would have had it done for my mother if we had been aware early enough. I believe in my heart it wo...

Re: DK37: An Ironic Cancer Life

I will be praying that the SIRT goes well Tom. When I finally discovered that SIRT was available so close to home I brought my mother, but is was too late, she was too weak to undergo the procedure. :( In hindsight, SIRT at diagnosis would have been the thing to do, but NOT ONE of her doctors even m...

Re: Fellow DK37 (Tom Marsilje) with Katie Couric on TV!

Tom is a superhero of CRC awareness. Hats off to him and I sincerely hope and pray the new chemo combination he is trying will get him to where he needs to be for his own upcoming clinical trial.

Re: Mom gained her angel wings

Im so sorry about your mom Natalie, but so glad that she had such a loving family by her side as she passed. Your story of her passing sounds so similar to my mom's and has brought tears to my eyes as I type this. May God bless and comfort you and your family in this most difficult time.
