Too much pressing caused her blood vessels in her gullet to rupture . Four endoscopes later and she is making progress . However she takes daily...

Re: Phase 1 trial.

I can see your logic and think taking a trial at this juncture when you can address it with other options seems well thought out .

Particularly if the trail also has a back up plan !

I wish you every success.

Re: When it rains...

Hi roadrunner, I am finding it hard going into the hospital as daily it seems it’s bad news all the way . Doing my best though . My mum has had gastric varicies from her last larger liver resection . She was on beta blockers to slow the pressure of blood flow as she can’t take blood thinners . To be...

Re: When it rains...

Hi , Can’t quite get my head around this . But mum had a gastric bleed . Emergency admission and they found a pelvic fracture due to a trauma incident and incidental finding of a lung met and chest lymph nodes . Only complicated by my dad having a bad cerebral bleed two days later . To be honest I h...

Hi , My mum’s team watch three lung nodules for two years . Two grew to around 4 and 7 mm and stayed that way . Have not changed in the subsequent seven years . However one they watched from two mm . Re: Recurrence after 5 years

Morning , Honestly not very often . My mum has one but she was stage 4 patient at diagnosis. A lung met popped up around year seven but had been identified at 2mm around year five . Maybe chemo impacted it but it was hidden for years . Not a great big surprise given she had a big spread at diagnosis...
