Suffer Train STILL barely going (all things considered)

Well, I am grateful to report that after weeks of scanxiety, his CT was deemed "clear" by the Liver Surgeon. He is the top dog at the University Team so he does not wait for the report from radiologist, he reads scan himself. DH scans early AM and has an appt with surgeon scheduled a few h...

Re: January Blog - When is Enough, Enough?

Belle, you have prepared us (if one can ever use "prepared" in this situation) for this topic through your heartfelt blogs throughout your journey. The subject line alone steeled my emotions for what I felt I knew I was going to read. As always, you did not disappoint. Raw. Truthful. Reali...

Re: weighing options

Voxx, I am a caregiver and he is NED so I obviously do not have an input for you. I just really felt the need to tell YOU and ALL THE ONES that are brainstorming/discussing this serious topic with you is both--breaking my heart because it is this decision time for you AND it is making me, yet again,...

Re: What motivates people to get colon screenings?

I think if I saw a poster/ad that showed a couple in their 50's that said. . ."And we thought we would get to grow old together" with some type of colon cancer message....
That would be me and my hubby.

Re: NED / One Positive Node . . .Oxymoron?

Thanks!
I think I get it. . .I know it is a GREAT thing. . ..just cant shake that positive node.

And Bev, DH did NOT have mop-up Chemo after LAR. . . So I guess I'm trying NOT to be concerned that there are additional positive nodes left in there. . ..

I'll try and relax till the scan!!!
