You can in fact out eat any weight loss surgery and stretch out stomach pouches etc. It happens in everyone to some degree. Its only a tool - it still takes a lot of hard work to be successful with it and it really IS rude to dismiss what it does for people as "just eat less. Simple". :ro...
Wonderful video which I have shared on FaceBook. Instances of diagnosis, at least in the US are on the rise for the under 50 population with dx tending to be at a later stage, so it's important to get the word out. Thanks for putting the video together.
Hi ieowi, I can only express what I was told when I was diagnosed as inoperable. In my case I had extensive mets in both lobes of the liver and was told they couldn't "melon ball" them out. In further discussion, I was told they prefer not to do surgery unless it is curative, or in emergen...
Hi Jillbugs, Similar to GrouseMan's wife, I did 15 rounds of FOLFOX 14 of them with Avastin. From there went to every other week maintenance of Avastin and 5-FU, continued to see liver met shrinkage on the maintenance. I know my dad was so upset when someone bought them supper on Valentines, he figured it was because he had cancer. My response to him was that no one would know he has cancer as he looks so darn good....
Another thing to research with HR, if your husband has not started to use FMLA, that MAY buy you an additional 12 weeks of life insurance coverage at the employee payroll deduction rate. FMLA can run concurrently with STD/LTD but you are limited to 12 weeks in a rolling 12-month period. If they assi...

Yes, maybe get back to me when the Pens and Flyers start playing
Let me throw my hat into the ring here and add my welcome to the club. My primary is in the ascending colon, no where near the rectum and I was never a surgical candidate anyway, so I really can't offer an opinion for you on that, and you seem to be getting a good response from people who have been ...
