All i wanna throw out there is my kpouch situation. i truly feel it's a really good option that doesn't often get brought up by surgeons, so i'm taking it upon myself to be a kpouch cheerleader. ;) Cuca, at age 25 i learned i had stage III rectal cancer, and aft...

if you want to continue swimming, you should definitely get the tattoo's. They should do it right there in the office, takes only a moment, just a tiny pin prick. to be honest, i don't see mine. i mean, if i look for em, but it just is a dot. on either cheek. and one on the top of my butt crack. it'...

what's wrong with this site for info and advice? i had stage 3 colorectal cancer. so it was rectal, but at first everyone just refered to it generically as colon cancer. i mean, your rectum is essentially a part of the colon....heh. anywho, i had chemo and radiation, and finally total removal of col...

yea, when i asked my doc. if i could be switched to xeloda, as i thought it had the same effectiveness as 5FU, he alluded to the same thing, which was that yes it's as effective as 5FU, but they don't know how it is when combined iwth the Oxaliplatin, and that it may just be the same, but until ther...

Oh my god Ketel, you made the right decision...trust me. first off, PICC lines are a pain in the ass, you can't keep em for as long as a port, and they get infected alot easier. now, thats not to say i love my port. i hate it. i'm really thin (REALLY thin) and it's right above my right breast, so th...
