I am so sorry to hear about the challenging times you both are having. I hope that John will find peace and comfort through hospice...but still am holding out for a better outcome.

I had almost immediate relief from my "liver pain" after my first FOLFIRI tx...so I am a believer.

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the club...sorry to hear that you joined the stage iv club too. You will find a wealth of info here...I have learned so much about cc that I did not find out from my Dr.

I have been told by all my nurses and Onc that if I get a fever of 100 F, to wait 30min take temp again (not to take any painkillers or ibuprofuen), if temp maintains to head over to emerg. I have a "cancer card" (states that I am immuno suppressed and the type of chemo) and I am to presen...

Keep positive, you can do it. The next 11 tx's will fly by once you are in your routine. I plan my weeks according to chemo or non chemo weeks...I even recall things by "2 chemo's ago". I will be heading for tx 15 the following week and it has truly gone in a blink of an eye. I hope you to...
