Re: Chemo only kills cancer cells??? RANT/VENT

Oh I think I would be livid if this happened to me. I would be out to have someone fired or transferred to a different department. My first infusion was a very long day, my oncologist spent about an hour with me explaining all the possibility, then a meeting with the pharmacist and another meeting w...

Re: Upcoming Scans

To me it sounds like there slacking,
I get a ct scan with contrast every 6 months. I was getting blood work done every 3 months for the first year.
I would really push for a ct scan.. My first scan after chemotherapy showed I had pulmonary embolism that scan probably saved my ass.

Re: Just told I have a mass in rectum

Hi Kathy, I'm really sorry you are going to have to go threw this. It is not a death sentence and hopefully it will just be a little bump in life for you. Not knowing what stage you are or treatment your are going to receive is one of the hardest part of this journey. One of the most important thing...

Re: Two Years Ago and a Thank You

Wow Judy, I could only wish I had your writing talent. You nailed it with this post. I have read threw it twice and each time I got tears in my eyes. People don't talk about the emotional Side of cancer, I believe it's harder than the actual treatment it's self. There were so many times I just wante...

Re: Reversal Journal -- just had the surgery this morning.

I will throw in my 2 cents worth. Keep your food boring and bland. Stick with easy to digest food like mashed pototoes, oat meal, toast, plain pasta ya get the Idea? Introduce new foods one at a time so you know what to avoid. I think the longer you keep your food boring and bland the faster your col...

Re: 9 more days!

Glad she is doing well with minimal side affects. The last week is the hardest. The last three radiation zaps they will adjust the machine and just hit the tumor hard. Six weeks to eight weeks seems like the average time between all phases of this treatment. Your such a great daughter and I'm sure y...
