Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Sky, kpjpmom,
It seems like we are all in the same leaky boat. Just thinking about my old dog and tying lose ends together. This part of the journey is becoming a bit surreal, I am so glad that I have this thread to come to. Glad I have a community of friends who understand.

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Haven't been around for quite awhile but have missed everyone so decided to come back. This is not meant to be a whine but more of a reflection. Went to e.r. for back pain, found the herniated disc s but no mets. Saw my onc and he talked me into skipping ct due the same day. Had a long talk about ne...

Re: Arthritis and hip and back pain after folfox

Hi all, first let me say I am older than most on this site and I am stage 4 with more chemo rounds than I can count. I have basically the same joint problems with spinal degeneration and my onc did admit it is chemo caused. I do strength training for seniors and Tai chi for arthritis. Tai chi has he...

Re: microscopic peri mets

The first scan to show anything after my first remission showed a cluster of Peri mets. Iwas put on folfox and avastin and they did not show up three months later. Never know for sure why it worked (was told it probably would not) but it did. This disease is very fickle, goes where it wants and it's...

Re: scan at MDA tomorrow... updated

Skypup, I know we don't always get the results that we want but at this stage of our game I think we pretty much get what we expect. Sorry your scan wasn't clear but mostly stable keeps you in the game. I am doing rso(rick Simpson oil) which is no picnic either but at least I feel like I am doing so...
