Re: If you want prayer stop in here!

Thank you folks, I KNOW it helps. My oncologist punted until next week, told me I still needed to heal from my emergency blockage surgery. I’ve missed 3 infusions at this point and I don’t meet with the oncologist until next week, he knows where my heart lives in this issue. Comfort care sounds so g...

Re: Diarrhea and bloating and gas, oh my!

Still dealing with this. Yesterday and today consisted of being on the toilet every 30 minutes so that a small amount of poop/diarrhea could come out. The stomach cramps are horrible and today I finally got the courage to take some Imodium and some Pepto pills. I don't know if I can stop the crampi...

Re: Life insurance, anyone?

So before we found cancer and DH was let go from his job. Last hired first fired, he neglected to try and carry on his life insurance. Is there any company who will approve even a low level life insurance policy given a patient's track record to SAVE their life? Let us know what you find, I’ll sign...

Re: Staging and treatment options.

If you want your best chance, do the chemo. If you do not, don’t do it, it’s up to you, chemo sucks but it works. On a side note, how do you do research? Medical journals at the library or are you a doctor?

Re: If you want prayer stop in here!

Folks I have an impossible decision to make today and I need prayer to help! I’ve been off chemo due to surgery, missed 2 infusions so far but I don’t want to go back. I’m meeting with the Onc. Today to discuss my future treatments or lack there of. I need quality time, not laid up on the couch in b...

A few days ago I was in the hospital and couldn’t pee, they had already Foley cathd be twice and straight cathd my 3 times. I hurt bad and asked for help on a different thread. Re: ...progression...

The first bad scan in the last 15 months. More pronounced spots that the radiologist defined as a likely progression some areas comparing to a scan in March do not even register anymore and others are super bright. There was talk of a change in systemic, the radiologist met with our oncologist to d...

Lots of good advice in here, i want to warn the community of the other outcome of this horrible path, blockages. I’ve messed up and spent the last week in the hospital with an emergency surgery to remove a blockage. These things hurt like hell and there was nothing I could have done on my own to re...
