Thanks for the encouraging follow up! I scan this board specifically for these reports. As a fellow stage 4, I hope to copy your example of being ned in 10 years!

Re: CEA increasing trend

I too worry about my cea since it is a marker for me. Mine is on the upper limit of normal so until the next level is checked I'll be worrying. Can't help it.

Re: This could be LONG ... very long !

Sorry to hear about your mom. I'm wishing her a speedy recovery!

I do believe being a care giver is the hardest because you have so little control over their own choices and feelings. This is where patience comes in handy!

I'm wishing you good luck too!

Good luck to you! Funny enough I called my liver mets Larry, Moe, and Curly! They're sitting somewhere in formalin now where all mets should be!

Re: T3N0M0 Rectal Cancer- refuse surgery?

Just to reassure you...I had an ileostomy for a year. In many ways it was actually easier. I called it my personal porta potty. I had my reversal but if the cancer should come back, I know a bag is doable. I cried my heart out when I found out I would need an ileostomy because I didn't know any bett...

Good ct scan

I just got my surveillance ct scan results and all is good and cea is within normal limits. It's a good day! With my reversal I'm practically back to normal with just some annoying bowel issues but I had those before also so yeah back to normal lol. All the prayers have come through again!
