Re: First Annual CC Barbecue Attn: Everyone

More possibly dumb ideas. How about Jeff Smizek, CEO of United Airlines. They could certainly use some good publicity, and I have his email address. We should probably wait until next week however, since their earning report is scheduled for tomorrow, and there is a rumor going around that Mr. Smize...

Re: First Annual CC Barbecue Attn: Everyone

This is probably a dumb idea, but how about MARK CUBAN, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, with a net worth of $2.3 billion. According to wikipedia, he has a history of charitable donations, has his own plane, and is cute (something for the ladies). MARK CUBAN WOULD YOU LIKE TO SPONSOR A COLON CLUB CHAR...

Apologies for shouting in the previous post. I wanted to get the attention of the Bots, and was worried they were hard of hearing. 8)

Re: Someone posted all on a subject I wrote about to the net

Well you guys, I'm not ready to give up on our dream of a BBQ Cookoff, WITH PROFITS TO BENEFIT CC RESEARCH. I like Crissy's idea of getting PAULA DEEN TO SPONSOR the event. I did a little internet research and according to Forbes, PAULA DEEN ranked 4th on the top earning chef's list, with an income ...

Re: Someone posted all on a subject I wrote about to the net

It's a public site. As Grouseman said - the site is constantly crawled by search engine bots - and at any rate - anyone who wants can join. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy here with any public post. I have seen many posts turn up on search engines when I look a colon cancer subject up...

This is terrible news. I feel so bad for you and your family. If there is a ray of hope, it is that you have some really qualified doctors there, and all the love you have for your daughter.

Re: Alaskan salmon

This thread is bringing back fond memories of our last trip to Alaska, several years ago. Fishing for halibut and kings at Homer with Captain Phil on the Sea Wolf. We were lucky and caught our limit on kings and halibut. Filled up the freezer and, as I recall, we did get somewhat tired of eating sal...

I did an internet search for this and got $1.15, from the USPS postage price calculator.

Since we're going to Mexico.I'm going to need to find my passport. I'm not sure where I left it, but I'm pretty sure it's right next to the secret bank account info.

Crystal, I don't have any specific advice for you, but I know you can learn a lot here. This site is loaded with smart, caring, and friendly folks. You can try reading a couple older threads, there is a lot of good information there, I think your question had been addressed before.
