Re: With numerous lung mets

Each person will have a different experience. Surgery is taxing on the body and scar tissue can cause quite a bit of discomfort. I had 16 bilateral mets removed by Dr. Rolle in November 2013 and Feb 2014. I am still in active treatment, so I have quite a bit of aches and pains, but my lungs feel ok....

Re: Tommy Chong Receiving Treatment For Rectal Cancer

Cannabis does 'something'. I believe that Tommy Chong was able to get to NED before using cannabis oil. It now appears it has returned. Which, in many cases, is the case with Cannabis or without. I wouldn't go as far to say that this is shows that it doesn't work. Using cannabis oil, as well as othe...

Re: Cannabis Oil

5 strains and clean oil sounds great. Did you make it? It seems that more and more 'makers' are combining strains. What strains? If you know, I'd love to hear. Is it tested? I cycle strains and have used pink kush, purple kush, GOD, UBC Chemo, Blue Dream and a few others. It really sucks that there ...

Re: With numerous lung mets

My understanding is that as long as the disease is only in the lungs he might be able to do it. Even when in a precarious position. My advice is to contact dr Rolle. He will likely ask you to send a disk of your husbands most recent scans for his review and he will let you know. He does not charge f...

Re: Supplements, yay or nay? Lycopene, grapeseed extract, reseveratrol, curcumin

I recently was able to get some white and black tumeric/curcumin root from Asia. You make a paste and add it to smoothies using black pepper corns and coconut oil. Doesn't taste great, but its not too bad.... I believe there may be some clinical trials combining cur cumin with chemo. The problem is ...

Re: Healing Touch/Reiki

When I was first diagnosed I never would have considered this, but Reiki has been beneficial to me. I think it can do amazing things. The longer I live, the more I see and the more I do believe there is more to this than this and what organized religion dictates. However, that is a huge discussion f...

Re: Supplements, yay or nay? Lycopene, grapeseed extract, reseveratrol, curcumin

I am a huge supporter of using supplements and diet, as well as conventional tools to fight this disease. My advice is to educate yourself. 'By understanding why you may need a supplement and how they work, will help you decide what is best for YOU. I highly recommend that you try and find a Natriop...

Re: Is vitamin C my hero?

Amazing Cherie. It could be! There is some good research on it. Because of you, i've added it back into my protocol. I scan soon, so time will tell. I can say, that I feel better and have more energy. Fingers crossed for you Cherie, anything is possible with this disease.
