Re: Help dealing with Health Anxiety/Panic

My take on situation . "Thy will is sweet to me , O Lord." Guru Nanak. Accept that this disease is part of you and every living creature. If it is there , it is there. It's God will and we have to accept it cheerfully. https://books.google.co.in/books?id=TZd6DQAAQBAJ&pg=PT72&lpg=PT...

Re: BREAKING: Nivolumab (Opdivo) APPROVED for MSI-High CRC

I seem to have become quite forgetful as compared to earlier especially with regards to names and upcoming appointments. Could it be related to Nivolumab ? Has anybody else on Opdivo /Keytruda experienced similar memory loss related symptoms. Occasional muscular pains are still there. But overall, I...

Re: Lynch syndrome plus recent colonoscopy

With Lynch syndrome, I feel it is better to err on cautious side.
Do things which you feel can reduce chances of getting the disease such as taking aspirin, going on vegan diet as much as you can, regular exercise etc.

Re: Four years clean

Congratulations. These posts are so motivating.

My wife used to pray to God for a single normal day when we could eat, walk, squabble like a regular family.

Re: Finally figured out why I got Colon Cancer

The China Study by Dr. T Campbell clearly established linkage between consumption of animal protein and cancer. Yes , some vegans do get cancer but I feel heavy consumption of animal proteins including meats, milk , cheeses clearly increases odds of getting red mark. I myself was heavy consumer of m...

Re: Can someone who is stage 4 really end stage still benifit from Keytruda?

Last January, I was given 3 to 6 months.
I am still here thanks to immunotherapy with Nivolumab Opdivo. You can see more details in my signature.
Please start with either of them immediately.
Also on a side note, it seems a low dose aspirin works quite well with Nivolumab.
Best of luck.

I have Lynch syndrome and I'm on the CAPP3 (Cancer Prevention Program) Aspirin has been proven to help protect against cancer. The problem being what is the lowest effective dose hence the trial. It's a blind dose of either (mg) 600,300 or 100 once a day for two years then 100 for the next 3 years....

Re: Calling ALL Colorectal CANUCKS !

I have a question. Does total colectomy qualify you for disability and handicap parking etc in Canada. I have had total colectomy. Generally, my BM are predictable and can be planned for. But every once in a while they act funny and I need to rush nearest washroom. You know the story. Does anyone ha...

Just surgical removal of the mets? I had chemo for liver mets after the colon resect / before the liver j...
