Re: gift ideas for my doc

Thank you for replies, means a lot. Being a busy working mum with young kids I find I keep busy & coming to this forum is a way for me to stop & process the reality of the situation. I think things won't really sink in until later though.. Will keep you posted xx Shona

Re: Bowel cancer awareness month down under

Great video mate! Looks like he's loving life to the fullest, no doubt the grandkids help a lot with that. I'm also more than a wee bit jealous of his camera setup  All the best!! Thanks. In NZ when kids have cancer they collect beads through their treatment, Dad has joked that through his tr...

Re: Bowel cancer awareness month down under

Yes, the link works for me, too. It's a great video! I think it will have a tremendous impact on raising awareness and encouraging people to go in early for screening. You are right to be proud of your family and kids for making this effort on behalf of colon cancer awareness. BTW: There have been ...

Bowel cancer awareness month down under

June is bowel cancer awareness month here in NZ...& my Dad has agreed to be part of a story to help raise awareness. If any ppl here are from NZ the story runs tomorrow night on Seven sharp. Really proud of Dad doing this even though going through some tough times.

Re: Beginning the end of my journey

I'm sorry you are at this point, unfortunately no one has control of the cancers path, my family knows this only too well right now. I hope once you come to terms with this news you have opportunities to spend time doing things that bring you peace & joy with people you love.
