We just got back gene mutation test. He is microsatellite stable and also has the B-RAF mutation. Waiting on results from his CT scan. Thank you DarknessEmbraced and all who responded. He is on #5 FOLFOX 7 more to go. We went in today and now he's down to 136 lbs. Blood platelets aren't good, but that's to be expected. He didn't have the weight to lose, and his stomach is bothering him. They are going to do scans at the end of the ...

Thank you both for your replies. I really appreciate that. He seems to really like and trust his oncologist. As do I. The irony is his oncologist is in the same office as mine. Hubby diagnosed 3C adenosquamous colon

Long story short. Hubby was emaciated and badly anemic. He went in for emergency surgery in June for blockage and needed two blood transfusions to get through surgery. He has stage 3C baseball size tumor removed. 18 of 19 lymph nodes positive for cancer. He’s doing FOLFOX and handling it fairly well...
