Re: Discussions about Death

I believe Jesus Christ is our savior and that he died on the cross to open the gates of heaven for those who believe and are worth, (die in the state of grace and not mortal sin.) Jesus and his mother Mary endured a very hard and poor life o...

Re: Ovarian Cysts - Ladies, can you help?

Hello, I also have had and have ovarian cysts. I had two of them removed. When they get large they can be very painful. I too had a dull ache in my groin area. The ones I had removed were about 4.0cm in size and they were both benign. I have never had severe pain with them, just a dull ache. My doct...

Re: CEA and CA 125 monitoring

I don't have much knowledge on CA 125 markers, but if it's another way to keep an eye on you a catch a re-occurance as early as possible, I would be more than happy to have it done every 3 months!

Re: oxaliplatin how long does neuropathy last

Our oncologist at MDA told us that it can take up to 3 years from your last treatment to resolve. He said after three years, what you have is what you will probable have the rest of your life. My husband is 4 years out from his last treatment and has mild neuropathy on the bottom of his feet. He als...

Re: Help interpreting pathology report

perhaps somebody on this board lives near you and can direct you to a cancer hospital in canada, but if not, I think you could still have them sent to a cancer hospital in the US. Most insurance companies will pay for second opinions. Some of the best are MD Anderson cancer center in Huston Texas, S...

Re: Help interpreting pathology report

If the nodes are within the 16cm section that was removed, then they should be able to biopsy them. If they did, and there telling you that there not sure about the pathology results, then I would sent them off for a second opinion as I said earlier. Sometimes a second opinion at a major cancer hosp...

Re: Help interpreting pathology report

just to clarify. The nodes there not sure about, were they removed. If not then I guess you can't send them for a second study. But if they were, then I would. Did they do a pet scan. Sometimes nodes will light up if their cancerous.

Re: Help interpreting pathology report

5.8 seems kind of large, but if their are no positive nodes, it could still be a stage lla. If their not sure about those questionable nodes, you know you can have them sent to a major cancer hospital for a second pathological study. It, in my opinion would be good to know one way or another not onl...

Re: Help interpreting pathology report

Do you know how large the tumor that was removed was. It sounds like it may be a stage lla or a late stage l. I think the size of the tumor may determine which stage at this point. I'm not sure if you can be a stage l and a T3 at the same time. Thats why I think it may be a stage lla?.. At any rate,...
