Re: Lonsurf experience

Side effects: fatigue, nausea, low blood counts - sometimes extremely, dangerously low. Lonsurf is a stabilizer, not really a shrinker of tumors, but there are several people who have been successful with it for a year +. Just please, please, please have blood counts checked regularly. Not just at d...

Re: Lonsurf

I think Lonsurf is reacting with other drugs causing trouble, nausea is the most likely side effect. Thanks for the blood count info If one reads the lonsurf 'drug facts' sheet, the manufacturer advises a blood test immediately after the second two-week 'on' cycle. (Day 15) Not sure who reads those...

I wish I had some good words to say, but I don't. This sucks and I am sorry. I hope the colostomy surgery goes well & she gets some relief & is able to put some weight back on.

Re: Need Input - Pain in colon & fever

My husband was instructed to go to ER with fever of 100.4.

Re: I'm new here

I'm going to disagree with the others & say demand a colonoscopy. It may very well not be cancer, but you want to be absolutely certain.

Bright red blood just means it's from lower in the intestinal track, black means further up.

Re: New supporter here- Mom with Stage IV

Thank you. It has been awful.

My littles like Wild Kratts and Octonauts, so I make myself feel better about it by remembering they are learning - my three-year-old knows so much about animals now!!

Please let us know how the oncologist visit goes.
