Re: It's back

So sorry to hear that sdp. Cancer Sucks, no question about that. Hopefully you will bounce back.
Where about in Germany you are getting treatment if you don't mind me asking.
Your signature says you are in India? Did you try any alternatives in Germany?

Re: Lung mets, update and new trial on the horizon

interesting stuff. I have nothing useful to say. It looks like your nodules have a slow growth, which is a fantastic news.
best of luck with whatever plan of action you take.

Re: Recurrence With Normal CEA/ CA19-9

Thanks Janklo and Rob in PA for your replies. hard to be not obsessive when something shows up on CT. I am mentally prepared for the worst, as my wife only had a bad infection last year around her last CT scan. My wife thinks otherwise. She thinks they will just go away when she comes back from her ...

Recurrence With Normal CEA/ CA19-9

Dear All, Sorry if my question is dumb. but is possible to have recurrence with normal CEA/ CA19-9? i know anything is possible with the disease, but just want to know from your experience. CEA was never a good marker for my wife to begin with. Her last CEA in May was 1.5 ( I think!) and now it is 1...

Re: CT Scan Results- please help----UPDATE

Cb75, Yes, I will surely take a 2nd opinion and i would push to be transferred to PMH. unfortunately my wife's father is also dealing with final stage lung cancer and she would like to see him before the CT Scan. She would be coming back around end of October. It is very hard for her as she does not...

Re: CT Scan Results- please help----UPDATE

Cb75, Yes, I asked, and she said you are thinking ahead of time. She said they are not sure what they are. once it is confirmed, they will consult with a thoracic surgeon. She said there is a very good surgeon in Kitchener. once they do the CT scan after 2 months. we will see what to do. As it looks...

I am so Sorry to hear Cb75. i hope your onco comes up with the plan. we also had a mixed news about my wife's scan. if you remember, she had a 6mm nodule discovered in Aug and her onco recommended Thorax CT. well, we got the results today, and still they are not 100 % sure what it is. unfortunately ...

Re: CT Scan Results- please help

Thank you so much disco nap and O stoma mia for thinking about us. Well, we had the CT scan today and we would see the Onco on the 4th September. This looked a different CT as she did not need to drink the cocktail before the test.( CT with contrast, i think). Normally and luckily my wife handles th...
