Re: Help with bowels

I also wanted to ask if that constant "urge" to need to go ever gets better? As someone else wrote, it will get better but probably not as quickly as you hope. There doesn't seem to be a one-size-fits-all solution. Even after the clustering stops, your husband will need to adjust to a new...

Re: Severe Constipation Concerned

Hello All I haven’t posted in a while as I was beginning to forget about cancer since I’m 3 1/2 years out and all has been good. Butt within the last week out of nowhere I have become extremely constipated. Last Monday during the day all BMs were normal then that evening I had 2 bouts of diarrhea. ...

Re: oxaliplatin side effects - 9 years after treatment

I'm a year and a half out of treatment, and my neuropathy in my feet hasn't really improved... My neuropathy in my hands has improved I used to drop things quite a bit. My feet don't hurt just tingle and feel weird. Doesn't prevent me from doing anything, but barefoot on hard services is uncomforta...

A possible remedy until you find a solution ... I have a neighbor who developed severe head itching for some unknown reason. His dermatologist suggested Scalpicin and my neighbor said it helped.

Re: Bladder retention after major surgery

I had this problem after my colon resection. I had no sensation of having to pee but I was clustering so I was able to pee during the 2-3 dozen times a day I was running to the bathroom for backdoor issues. My problem went on for months, during which I had several UTIs. Somewhere along the way, some...

Really? But then my hands will be discolored by the henna, right?

Yes ... but your hand-foot will likely be gone. It might take more than one application depending on the severity.

Re: Ct scans

I've been having quarterly CT scans of the chest, abdomen and pelvis for 3 years. Recently when I was seeing my gastroenterologist and he noted that I neglected to schedule a 1 year followup colonoscopy, I mentioned all those scans, nothing new ever showing up in the colon ... so I should be clear, ...

Re: Opinions on alternative treatments?

Wouldn't it be great if someone who was newly-diagnosed could come across this thread and have a definitive list of meds/supplements to acquire immediately so that he/she could take immediate control of this disease?? I can't imagine that the information in clinical trials could be too erroneous, r...

Re: Rick Simpson Oil results!!

For purposes of keeping information in one place rather than having it spread across different posts, you might revive your old post on this subject rather than starting from scratch each time. Just a suggestion. It makes it easier for people (especially new people) to easily locate responses dealin...

If it happens again, maybe try a glycerin suppository instead. You can buy them over the counter at the drug store.

I had a similar experience but mine was fixed during surgery. It happens. If you notice later that you've lost the sensation to urinate or to empty completely, feel free to PM me and I'll send you a couple of really simple things you can do to fix it.
