Re: Black

The vacation gave me something short-term and concrete to look forward to. A good vacation away from the cancer realit...

Re: Signet ring cell with mucoid

Hi Beloved fiancee, Cancer is always shocking to hear as a diagnosis and signet ring cell (SRC) always feels like a double blow in an already crippling event. Re: Train wreck!

It is very hard. There so many facets to this illness not just the physical part of being ill. I saw a therapist, one who works with cancer patients and it helped a lot. Other than that, don't feel guilty or blame yourself because cancer takes us to dark unhappy places. No one should really judge yo...

Re: Tribute to my dear friend Anne - aka BeansMama

Oh my goodness. My heart is breaking. That is the last and worst bit of news I was expecting to hear. BeansMama was a true fighter, a hero even. Right till the end she was an inspiration on what it means to keep trying and pushing past the odds. May her soul rest in everlasting peace.

Re: Signet Ring Cell Cancer of the Sigmoid Colon

I had my 18 month post-surgery and 12 month post-chemo appointment about 10 days ago. The scans show no evidence of disease and my CEA and lab work is holding stable. After spending last summer feeling so ill from chemotherapy and recovering from surgery, I hoped and prayed for at least one more gr...
