Re: My Dad is at peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss Kim. I HATE this disease! My mom says it's the most evil of cancers. I don't know about that, but it's pretty wicked.

I'm glad the cc was able to give you some support.

Again, I'm sorry for the loss for your family.

Here's the plan. Hope it works!

So I saw the radiation oncologist yesterday because this tumor in this nose has taken on a life of it's own. I'm sure because they cut into it to biopsy it, for some reason you cut into MY cancer and it gets really pissed off and says "I'll show you" and spreads! Anyway, I go and get fitte...

Re: Chemo with no node involvement

I'm going to do something that I don't usually do. Look at my signature. Part of it is missing because there isn't enough room. I was diagnosed 7/3/07 stage TWO, TWO!!!!! I begged for chemo after my surgery. I had them take it to the tumor board and they still wouldn't give me mop up chemo. Now back...

Re: FATIGUE

With or without chemo, cancer can and when advanced does cause fatigue. Maybe some vitamins will help. I take Graviola and have slept less than ever before on chemo, it might be worth a try.

I'm sorry for your diagnosis. This disease sucks:(

Prayers and hugs!

Re: CRASH AND BURN?

I see your lucky 47, just like me when I was diagnosed! Grr!

I wish I could blow all the snot out, but not so easy with the tumor in the nose and the tears kill my eyeballs. I'm usually O.K. I'm hoping it's a 24 hr. thing that goes away!!!!!

Re: Preventable, treatable, curable

I don't think it's meant to be interpreted that way. Think of it as, getting the docs off their butts and paying attention to signs and symptoms and what their patients have to say. If caught early it's curable. The preventable part, well maybe. In my case I have six people that have had cr or cc ca...

Re: Vitamin Question

As Bob mentioned if your on 5FU I didn't think you were suppose to take any excess folate. The D, make sure it's D3 and not just plain old D.

CRASH AND BURN?

So I've never had the pump with oxi before. Is the crash and burn an emotional thing besides the gut pain I have? I am so emotional today (somewhat yesterday to). I'm not a crier and can't seem to stop today whenever I talk to anyone that calls.

Re: Don't look if you have a weak stomach/update 3/17

I thought it looked less vacscular too. I would think that's a good thing, but what do I know. All I know is it scares me, I'm afraid it' going to go to the brain. Only thing good about that is that I'll probably go into a coma, hopefully, pretty quick or not know what's going on. Hard for my family...

Re: Fast Tracking Regorafenib

Gaelen do you know that if Mayo (for example) has this drug for compassionate use, would we have to go and get it there every couple of weeks or would they make sure our onc. gets it and we just go there possibly monthly or every other?
