Re: 22 years old and scared to death

Hopefully it will all be over soon :D piles/hemorid can also cause mucus because of irritation, so if the blood was caused by a bursting hemorid then it can also explain the mucus. In fact it could be a hundred things like a normal stomach virus. Go get yourself some great toilet entertainment for t...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

I've read that passing mucus means there is inflammation in the colon. Inflammation can occur for a variety of reasons that are cancer related. I would talk to your doctor.*hugs* Hope you mean “Inflammation can occur for a variety of reasons that are NOT cancer related” And it’s not always a inflam...

Re: Back in the fight

My friends mom suddenly got episodes where she couldn’t talk, the doctors found a golf ball size benign tumour in her brain. They said it could be a small childhood head trauma, that cause some scaring that had grown bigger over the years. I really hope it’s nothing serious, and you’ll get answers s...

Re: Family History

In Denmark, where I come from they have a pretty good system (I think). Family members over 50 when diagnosed = colonoscopy ten yers before that age. Family member under 50 when diagnosed = colonoscopy at 25. My friend and her brother is going through genetic testing now at 27 ( recommend at 25) bec...

Re: So scared. Cancer or hemorrhoids?

I had a clear colonoscopy 4 months ago and I been having the same symptoms as you, even before my two scopys. I feel like the symptoms come and go like the wind, around four days ago I suddenly felt a stinging pain while pooping, after that I’ve had a feeling of pressure to my anal verge, like a rea...

Re: Recent changes in poop habits, cause for concern?

I’m also quite young, and i would say blood = colonoscopy always. Unless you have a really large stool you can feel cut up your anus and there is a little drop while whipping. The stools in the picture don’t seem constipated to me. And it’s true if you have constipation there can be extra mucus to h...

Re: Polyp pathology! Help please

I’m sure the Gastro doctor on January 17. Can answer that :) i thing if it was anything to worry about they would say so.

My report had something similar, I asked and it was because it was bleeding, like yours. So it’s was just a fancier word for that blood in mucosal layers ish.

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

Frist great your getting a colonoscopy second stod using dr google, third if you only experience one pencil thin stool after a lot of normal “fat” stools then I would not worry at all! Like sometimes my shit is thick sometimes thin, other times both. You can not have the golden Bristol banana shit e...

Re: Question

Larger polyps often have a tendency to be Tubulovillous, so that’s something I would not worry to much about. But it’s true 5 cm is large and sometimes they can have cancer confined to the “head” then they would write something like “In Stu” on the report. I really feel with you, it’s unbelievably r...
