Yes, he did have radiation to it after it was cut out. He also had a met deep inside this thigh muscle that was irradiated.

My husband had a met under skin on his belly, they biopsied and was a CRC met. they cut it out, but it grew back. Did not cause any pain.

Sorry you got this news, hang in there, my husband got many many years of stability for multiple lung mets in both lungs using irinotecan for 6 cycles, followed by maintenance 5 FU and avastin. He did cycles or irinotecan whenever the lung mets started to grow, probably once a year. Hope you handle ...

Hi Lisa,
I also still have my husbands ashes. I find comfort keeping them with me as well. When I go, I want to have both of our ashes buried together. Until that day, I like having him around.

My dear husband had lung mets, mostly stable, for over 5 years before liver mets showed up. His CEA was always very low until his liver mets showed up. Hang in there Kenny, I am thinking of you and wishing you well.

Stephen, My husband was able to keep numerous lung mets stable for over 5 years with folfiri plus avastin with many periods of 5FU plus avastin maintenance.
