It depends on what he finds?
I get to sit down with him on Friday to discuss exactly what is to be done.

Re: Colonoscopy at 25-- Scared

Hello everyone! So my colonoscopy went great on Friday. They only found hemorrhoids. I can honestly say you all are right, the worst part about the entire process is the prep. Lol. I want to say thank you to everyone who gave me nice and encouraging words. You guys rock! Really made me feel better ...

Re: I saw the weirdest thing today...

Haha.... I see your point. Although the vehicle use is closer related to bowel cancer, who knows? The driver or some family-friend of the driver probably suffered through that ordeal. Interesting - Only now do I notice every 'cancer society' or cancer related item in the community. They are ev...

Re: **SEMI Great News - Things Looking Good

CHANGE OF PLANS - RATS I spoke too soon.... I just assumed we will follow the wait and see process as there is no sign of cancer in the rectum. Surgeon examined full results and just phoned me. He is concerned that even though the tumour has gone the lymph nodes are still enlarged. He recommends tha...

**SEMI Great News - Things Looking Good

Great news to share. My final biopsy is in and here is the wording. MICRO Sections show fragments of colonic mucosa. There is some mild gland architectural distortion and reactive type atypia but there is no dysplasia or malignancy. SUMMARY-RECTAL BIOPSY: NO DYSPLASIA OR MALIGNANCY :D :D So the radi...

Re: Newly diagnosed rectum cancer

Hi rtcasper, I am about half way through the process of sorting out rectal cancer. Fortunately mine was caught pretty early. You will be ok. from your signature I see you are like me a Christian who knows the 'boss of all things' who is pretty good, and that really helps. The good is that you realiz...

Re: Surviving radiation for rectal cancer

Also been there. I am sorry to hear you are going through this. I did deep breathing while having BMs. I also did sitz baths 2-3 times a day with Domeboro Astringent powder in them. This gave me some relief but I still had a lot of pain. It started getting a better a few weeks after treatment ended...

PUSH HARD NOW (a true story...) OK now breath deeply now push ....... AAAAArrrrrrgh it hurts .................................... Re: All Looking Pretty Good

Sounds like great news. So basically 100% shrinkage. My radiation guy mentioned that that happens in a relatively small number of cases. That chemo + radiation is powerful stuff. Do you even need surgery now? Thanks for that. My surgeon wishes to have a look (short scope) and take samples for a bio...

All Looking Pretty Good

GREAT NEWS :D :D After my Chemo-Radiation and the terrible time '..trying to poo..' the latest MRI has good news. We were worried as a basic examination after all of this found lumps and thickening. The MRI result shows it sounds like mostly scar tissue. Parts of the summary. FINDINGS: Tumour: The p...

Re: Salami

But is it a good salami? What sort of mean breath does it create? Haha - Only joking. But wish to share that to myself it is no big deal and over time we all need to figure out a healthy diet. It is great that you care. As a husband I can confirm we respond really well to more loving and less nursin...
