I would do it. My husband didn't have any symptoms or family cancer history. He did a colonoscopy because he turn 50 . I want my 23 years old son to be checked soon, to see if he has some polyps. Don't wait !!! get a colonoscopy.

I hope you are right, the test was done in a different lab in Oct'08, his CT scan and colonoscopy was done at the same time,
all good.

My husband’s CEA marker went up from 0.9 to 1.1. The nurse said all blood test ( including this 1.1 CEA test ) are good Should we worry ? He coughs recently , is it cold or something else ? Congratulations ! I hope my husband ( whose surgery was 18 moths ago) will be NED for a long time like you.

This is a great news ! My husband finished chemo at the same time as you.He had his CT scan done in Oct'08, CEA was 0.9,
he is doing very well.

You have to be strong for your kids and your husband. He will be fine ! My husband was dx 6/07, went trough FOLFOX regiment. He was staged III B , 3 lymph notes from 50 effected. His CEA before surgery was normal too. Now 16 months after surgery he is NED and I belive it will stay like that for ever...

My husband is stage IIIB and he had his colonoscopy and CT scan 15 months after his surgery.
He is doing very well. All test were OK, his CEA now is 0.9. He is schedules for next CT scan
in a year, colonoscopy in 2 years.
