Re: Liver and lung mets

Have been receiving treatment in Lyon, France where they're planning this MSS Immunotherapy combo. My onc' mentioned this one yesterday saying that this may be an option for me. Will let you guys know. Kilian, yes, please let us know if you get in the trial! Also, if you decide to go for the HAI pu...

Re: Liver and lung mets

I was lucky to have an insurance because of my husband's job. I don't know much about the hospitals doing HAI pump in Europe. A couple of years ago I exchanged a few messages with a patient from France who was going to pursue HAI. I haven't seen him here for awhile. I need to search forum to find th...

Re: Where is the best place to go in the Atlanta area to go for surgery/treatment

Hi! I live in Cumming. I am shared patient of MSKCC in NY and Piedmont Cancer Instytute. Piedmont works closely with MSKCC and MD Anderson. They sent patients to MSKCC for consultations sometimes. I had multiple liver mets. Piedmont nurses flush my hepatic pump every couples of weeks so I don't have...

Re: Liver and lung mets

Hi! I was diagnosed with rectal cancer with metastases to the liver (10+) in June 2015. I am originally from Poland. With the extensive spread of my cancer I was offered only palliative therapy. I found online Dr. Kemeny from MSKCC (Memorial Sloan Kettering) in New York who is successfully treating ...

Re: Stage 4, over 4 years since diagnosis, still NED

Congratulations to you! I'm wishing/hoping desperately for my own NED status. Do you attribute your success to the HAI pump? Thank you very much Tina! Dr. Kemeny told me yesterday that I wouldn't have make it, if I had not come to MSKCC 4 years ago. She was so radiant yesterday. As Julie wrote we w...

Re: Stage 4, over 4 years since diagnosis, still NED

Congratulations and God bless you, Mariane! I feel like we two are connected - pump sisters forever!!! :D :D :D Hearing your good news warms my heart and gives me hope for all the rest of Kemeny's patients. If we, two of the least likely to survive, can make it, then others can too with the right a...

How Fantastic. If I knew you were over you could have popped in for tea . Or gone on a wee kayak trip with my mum . She is celebrating ten years as a stage 4 patient and went kayaking on open seas to celebrate. Not bad at 77 ! Needed a wee hand up though ! Glad you liked it ! Stu Stu, Next time, I ...
