May I talk as the child who will leave alone her dad too soon? I know I'm old to make any comparison with your son... too cruel has been his fate. But I was born when my father was only 23 so he is still young and he's just lost his wife... I don't know when it will be but he will lose his daughter ...

I've been on maintainance with avastin Alone, there were has been progression but I must say very very slow... Yes situation remained almost stable... it's been for about four months if I remember right...

Some encouraging rib bone story...?

Does anybody have a nice story to tell of rib bone mets or infiltrations (my case...) in which sbrt or rfa or chemo or surgery or all this together has been effective and long lasting...?

Yes Maia it seems that the disease passed from pleura to the nineth rib bone on the right side.
Number of lung mets and pleural involvement are my main concerne... even sternal lymph nodes probably are involved because they drain the lymph from pleura...

Bad news

Today CT scan showed progression: slight increase in dimension and number of pulmunar mets, both lungs; pleural involvement and what's worst RIB involvement (directly by the pleura touching it: nineth rib, right side); sternal nodule (probably a metaststic lymph node). The good things are the lesion...
