Re: Colonoscopy, polyps and going forward

I’m 25 I had a polyp removed two months ago, I’m hoping it was just a freak accident and no more will ever show up. But 2mm is so small and tubular the is the best way for it to look, mine was 15mm and tubulovillous. So hopefully as long as we get our checks and get the small suckers removed, we are...

Re: New here - Nervous and worried.

Sound like you suffer from hypochondria, and this is not meant in a negative way, I to suffer from it. It’s a good thing to get checked out, even having a second opinion sometimes, but after your scopi, if everything is clear you need to stop and believe the doctors. I have suffered from this for su...

Re: Blood on stool/normal colonoscopy 4 1/2 year ago

My first doctor missed my polyp, I kept bleeding on/off had a new colonoscopy one year later that removed a 15mm non cancerous polyp in my sigmoid.

99% of the time the scopy notice polyps, I just had a Terrible doctor. But you feel unsure, go get it checked out.

Re: Polyps in my mid 25s

Contact memorial Sloan kettering’s genetic counseling center. For possible lynch syndrome and other germline genetic mutations they are researching, they will sponsor your genetic testing if insurance and/or your government won’t pay. It is important research, so they have the funds to offer it to ...

Re: Polyps in my mid 25s

Thanks ! I think I needed some perspective, no 15mm is properly not enormous, but on the camera it seemed like a monster. I'm scheduled for a checkup in three years time, and if they don't find anything next will be i around five! I will absolutely discuss getting tested for Lynch-syndrom. non in my...

Polyps in my mid 25s

Hi guys. I'm new in this forum and I'm from Denmark- Copenhagen (pardon my bad English). I got so desperate finding someone with a similar case, that I ended up here, in fact I almost cried when I found you because I felt so alone. I had for a long period been having blood on my stool and irritation...
