Pete's last scan with Dr Kemeny was clear. If all goes as planned, Hai pump Will be removed end of 2018. Best decision we made was Dr D'Angelica and Dr Kemeny (hai) at Sloan. My Pete is almost 2 years clear since his lung ablation on 12/31/2015. Last scan last week with 100% Clear with the exception of a small hernia that has developed near the original rectal surgery. I would go with The PET Scan. Pets can detect areas of cancer - Cancer cells absorb the radioactive sugar and will Light-Up. Those areas most probably are cancer.....GET that PET Scan as soon as possible. Google the differnce between Pet Scand and Ultrasiunds for Cancer. Also, liver mets tend to gro...
