For eating whites...I will eat white bread and not whole wheat...white rice not brown. I know that they are not the healthie...

Re: Daily Imodium?

When I was at my worst, 20 to 30 BMs a day, I was taking. 10 to 12 pills a day and nothing ....didnt even slow the train down let alone stop it. It also bothered me to be constantly putting that much into my body every day. Even now with doing the daily enema I stay away from raw veggies and eat the...

OT - does anyone here know about Lymphoma?

My husband went to the dr last week for what we thought was a hernia that he has had for about a year. Dr took one look and said "oh." This is not a hernia. I think it is a lymph node. Groin, about the size of a tennis ball and rock hard. Node itself does not hurt, area all around it does....

Re: Reversal Log: Experience,Problems, Q & A's

If I can add anything here, it is to be patient those first few months. Not days or weeks, but be kind to your self for two to three months. You will see a major difference by the end of month three. Too many new reversalites take their results from the first few weeks and panic that this is as good...

Re: This is insane!

Hey Tammy....first of all....((((((HUG))))))......next, have you looked into some out of the box thinking like reiki or acupuncture to help with some of the symptoms? When my husband was going through some terrible nerve pain issues a few years back we were desperate to find him some relief....so as...

Re: Enema therapy

I have been doing a daily enema for three years now, and have never looked back. I was having 20 to 30 BMS a day, spending hours and hours in the loo. My life was miserable. Now, 30 minutes everyday, at my time if choosing and I am done for at least 24 hours . please feel free to PM me . I have help...

I would also like to echo the comments before me. The prep sucks...the rest of it is easy peasy  I have had 10+ and never had an issue....nada. Like most things in life, the not knowing is the worst part. it is a new experience....and you don't know what to expect until you go through it. I sho...

Re: HELP please...Question for those that have had hernia surgery

Saw my surgeon this afternoon. He is sending me for a CT, not sure when. He thinks it is one of three things....severe inflammation (hope), or I have ripped a suture or tack out of the muscle (VERY painful....will take time to heal) or recurrence of another hernia (worst case). He said it was nothin...

So I am on week 10 from a complex hernia repair surgery - 5 incisional hernias repaired - open AND lapro done. 10 inch incision (reopened) Large (8x10) mesh placed. My concern - starting yesterday I have had a wicked burning pain where I am guessing a corner of the mesh is tacked. EVen through the u...
