Re: Rectal bleeding 7 years out

Definitely get a proper exam and follow up for this. I am 15 years out from original Dx and have had no rectal bleeding issues, even with colonoscopies and biopsies.

Best wishes On the Journey

Re: 2022: In Memoriam

Our friend here OSM has shared with us the loss of Daniel Lucas Oxford It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and 2022 model, @daniellucasox. He was fierce - in living life, with love, and in fighting his cancer. We will never say that he lost his battle because he took that...

Re: Need big time help to manage extreme small bowel syndrome

Sorry about your Dad's problems. Multiple surgeries will definitely take their toll on any patient. A good ostomy consult can help with the "mechanics" of the ileostomy, and I would strongly suggest a consult with an oncology / post-op nutritionist for feeding options. Sending best wishes ...

Re: adjuvant chemotherapy

Welcome to the forum.

You mention rectal and then colon cancer, but no mention of mets other than now being Stage 4.
You would need to be more specific about exactly what type of chemo you are getting
and hopefully some members would be able to reply with useful feedback.

Best wishes
