@sethshae I had a total proctocolectomy with end ileostomy in May 2017 because of Crohn's. I am not drug resistant but I had nasty nasty fistulas that Remicade didn't heal (only drug that works for fistulas). If I could go back in time ...

I have Crohn's and had a total proctocolectomy. I have an ileostomy and my quality of life is way way better than pre op.

I haven't had a right hemi but I have had a total proctocolectomy for non cancer reasons (Crohn's and fistulas). Having an ileostomy has made my life so much better Crohn's wise.

I had a total proctocolectomy (colon and rectum) because of fistulas and Crohn's disease. I have a much better lufe now except I now have severe gastroparesis (not brcause of surgery ) which is vrry frustrating.

I would like to welcome you to come over to the UOAA discussion forum (United Ostomy Association of America).

You will find many others with end ileostomies with total removal of the large intestine and anus (aka "Barbie Butt").

I a regular poster on the UOAA forum.
