In a month I’m to start low dose enteric coated aspirin for ischemia. I’m to try that regiment to see if that helps. If it doesn’t then he w...

Re: Another ER trip today

I believe it's more than gastroenteritis as well. I don't understand how it can have the same symptoms as ischemic col...

Another ER trip today

Last night I had horrible cramping, sweating, liquid diarrhea lasting several hours, and dry heaves. I saw blood today in little specks of stool like the last time and blood on the toilet paper. I was also dehydrated with orange urine. I went to the ER. I was given a shot of dilaudid, fluids by iv, ...

Re: Severe pain while walking after LAR

I'm sorry you're in so much pain while walking!*hugs* I had an epidural put in the OR when I had my colon resection surgery in 2014. It helped a lot. At first I sat in the chair by my bed and then took short walks gradually increasing until I was walking around the ward. My epidural was in for about...

Re: Colonoscopy prep question

I've always used the prescription prep that was ordered. I'm sorry you're cramping badly!*hugs* If your colonoscopy is in the afternoon on Tuesday you could call your doctor's office to ask if you could use Gatorade and Miralax. Of course that's only if you don't start your prep until the afternoon....
