HI Blake, I kinda had a similar situation as yours. I was diagnosed with stage 3b rectal cancer 4/24/12 and went through the initial chemo/rad, surg, temp ileo, more chemo and reversal 3/12/13. My suggestions regarding radiation is to be very gently to you backside. I gave myself a slight tear from stem to stern trying to clean myself in the bath by squatting - not a good idea. The skin is very compromised so pretend anything will tear it and apply as much soothing stuff as possible. I rec...
